About the winery:
With this beautiful Spanish winery we are very happy. It is a long-cherished wish to add a beautiful traditional rioja winery to our own range and now the time has come!
For more than a hundred years, the Domeco de Jarauta family lives off viticulture, over time they have selected and purchased vineyards that improved the quality of the wines. To date, the grapes are processed in a traditional way, resulting in beautiful classic Riojas. The oldest reference dates back to 1888, the year grandfather Vicente presented a wine at the Barcelona World Fair and it was awarded gold. In 1995 José Vicente Domeco de Jarauta builds a modern winery where he began to optimize his wines, later in 2005 his son Jose Vicente Domeco de Jarauta succeeds him, after studying oenology in San Sadurni D'Anoia (Penedés). The primary goal is and remains to combine tradition, quality and innovation in their beautiful wines The wines:
Family Domeco de Jarauta makes under Vina Marro various Rioja wines
all from Aldeanueva de Ebro and surroundings. Premier cru wines start with a young fresh white Rioja made from Viura and Garnacha Blanca. In addition, we will carry 4 red wines: a Vendimnia selecionada, a Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva. Later there will be a white and red Garnacha wine from Rioja.
