This wine is approachable in its youth, with balanced tannins and a fruit-forward character.  The \u003cbr\u003evast majority of fruit comes from our estate, supplemented by a limited amount from Napa Valley growers. This wine is the blend of many vineyard blocks, soil types and fermentation lots. \u003cbr\u003eOur goal is to produce a juicy, saturated wine ready to enjoy at a young age. To ensure vibrant aromatics and a rich supple palate, we ferment hot and fast, allowing us to extract the fruity character without overly extracting tannins. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eVINTAGE \u0026amp; VITICULTURE\u003cbr\u003eThe 2022 vintage was the third in a string of drought years. Despite the drought, there was well-timed Spring rain that boosted the vines’ vigor allowing for nicely established \u003cbr\u003ecanopies for both shade and photosynthesis. The weather remained relatively mild and even, with routine fog patterns cooling nighttime and morning temperatures. At Labor Day, a significant heat wave impacted the entire Western States.
