Note From the Winemaker

Opaque purple in appearance. Explosive aromas of black and blue fruits are transformed into notes of licorice, spices and floral notes. Rich and long, it has a good acidity that lends elegance. In the mouth, sweet blueberries and redcurrants mark the palate with persistence in a spicy, concentrated finish.

Only the oldest vineyards are used for the creation of Triga. The vines are carefully monitored throughout all their stages and processes – pruning, blossoming, fructification, ripening and harvest and only the best parcels are selected. These vineyards have very low production.  Each parcel is harvested, produced and aged separately.

The grapes come from five vineyards, one of which was planted in 1925. Four vineyards of Monastrell located in the Sierra de Salinas, Umbria and La Sima. The vineyard of Cabernet Sauvignon is in the Sierra de Salinas and was planted in 1981. Altitude 600-750 metres above sea level, with Fossilised limy soils and an upper layer of limstones. Planted in low system.

Title to, and Ownership of Alcoholic Beverages

Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from a Licensee to the purchaser at the licensed retail premises or warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the licensed retail premises or warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the alcoholic beverages, the retailer is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

Shipping to Other States

We may ship wine or sake, on your behalf, to some States in the Continental US. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com if shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.

We cannot ship wine/sake to the following states: AL, DE, KS, KY, MI, MS, ND, NH, NJ, NV, PA, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT.

Flat Rate shipping for $35 for all purchases under $500. For any order over $500, we offer free shipping.

International Shipping

Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.

Signature Policy

For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
