Julien Barge's Cuvée La Ribaudy 2023 is a dry white wine from the Saint-Joseph appellation, located in the northern part of the Rhône Valley in France. This terroir benefits from a temperate climate with continental influences, bringing a beautiful maturity to the grapes while maintaining a notable freshness. The steep granite soil gives this wine a distinct minerality. Julien Barge, a respected estate in the region, is renowned for its traditional know-how, which is reflected in the quality and elegance of its wines. This cuvée highlights the expressive potential of local grape varieties, such as Marsanne and Roussanne.
To accompany this white Saint-Joseph, opt for seafood, especially pan-fried scallops or white fish carpaccio, which will bring out the delicate aromas and freshness of the wine. Roast poultry, such as free-range chicken with herbs, will also go wonderfully, while respecting the subtle balance of the wine. For a regional touch, local cheese, such as Picodon from the Drôme, will sublimate its mineral and floral notes.
To taste the Cuvée La Ribaudy 2023, serve it ideally between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius. A light decanting of about half an hour will allow the wine to fully release its aromas. Start by observing its bright and shimmering colour, then wear it on your nose to appreciate its aromas of white flowers and citrus, as well as its mineral nuances. On the palate, taste its silky texture and balanced liveliness, which extend into an elegant and refreshing finish.

Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from a Licensee to the purchaser at the licensed retail premises or warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the licensed retail premises or warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the alcoholic beverages, the retailer is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

International Shipping
Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
Signature Policy
For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
