ORIGIN: Finca Victoria, Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza.
VINEYARD ALTITUDE: 1050 m.a.s.l.
AGE OF THE VINES: planted in 1914.
DENSITY: 7200 plants per hectare.
VINE TRAINING SYSTEM: low trellis system.
VINEYARD MANAGEMENT: organic with cover crops, double Guyot pruning system,
drip irrigation system.
SOIL PROFILE: deep clay-loam soil.
WINEMAKING PROCESS
DATE OF HARVEST: second week of March 2022.
HARVEST: manual in cases of 18 kg.
RECEPTION: in concrete eggs with whole grain grape.
MACERATION: cold, during 1 day at . 50º F (10º C).
ALCOHOLIC FERMENTATION: with native yeasts in concrete eggs without epoxy
during 30 days at controlled temperatures
between 73.4-77° F (23-25° C), perfoming 4 pigeages per day.
MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: with native bacteria in 2,000 liters fourth-use oak
vat for 30 days at 68º F (20º C).
AGING: at the same oak vat during 6 months and an additional 13 months in concrete egg without epoxy.
BOTTLING: December 2023
PRODUCTION: 2360 bottles.
ALCOHOL: 14.6% / Total acidity: 5.43
PH: 3.60 / Residual sugar: 3.76
TASTING NOTES: Structured and complex Malbec with intense color. Aromas of ripe black fruits, subtle herbs, and spices typical of the region. On the palate, it is dense and balanced with refreshing acidity and a long finish.

Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from a Licensee to the purchaser at the licensed retail premises or warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the licensed retail premises or warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the alcoholic beverages, the retailer is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

International Shipping
Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
Signature Policy
For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
