Notes from the Winemaker

Presentation
Our mission is to offer fine, accessible and authentic wines. Our "Coulon Family" wines are the result of a project developed by Victor and Antonin Coulon, a new generation at Domaine de Beaurenard. All the wines in the "Coulon Family" range are 100% from organic and biodynamic farming, certified by Ecocert and Demeter. We select grapes from fellow winegrowers who are committed to the virtues of biodynamics and the preservation of the environment of our region.

The vintage
The Coulon family, owners of the Domaine de Beaurenard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, interpret vintage after vintage the beauty of the Mediterranean terroirs of the Southern Rhône Valley.

The grapes are harvested within a radius of 30 km around the estate and come exclusively from the magnificent terroirs and appellations of the southern Rhône Valley:
AOC Côtes-du-Rhône, AOC Côtes-du-Rhône villages, AOC Ventoux. We have chosen to downgrade them to Vin de France, which gives us an incomparable freedom to blend terroirs and grape varieties in order to create complex and singular wines, reflections of a region and an assumed audacity.

Vinification
It all starts with a meticulous selection of the grapes. In the cellar, only the first juices, elegant and aromatic, are retained. The vinification is carried out in accordance with the astral calendar, slow fermentation at a controlled temperature, followed by a thoughtful blend and a resting period in the bottle. At each stage, the Coulon family is attentive to the balance of the wine. Le Petit Renard bears their signature: a daring triptych of perfume, delicacy and minerality.

 Roussanne 25%, Viognier 20%, Clairette 20%, Marsanne 15%, Rolle ou Vermentino 10%,
 Grenache blanc 5%, Carignan 5%

TASTING NOTES
This wine is pure and energetic, perfectly achieving our goal of lightness and freshness. It remains firmly rooted in the region’s characteristic bright fruits, like peaches and
apricots, accents of garrigue, and a velvety texture. The vibrant flavors encapsulate the essence of the local terroir, offering a refreshing yet complex taste that is both lively
and deeply satisfying. Each sip reveals layers of intricate notes, highlighting the harmonious balance between the fruit and the subtle herbal undertones. This exquisite
blend not only reflects the unique qualities of the region but also exemplifies our dedication to crafting wines that are both elegant and invigorating.
