In the heart of Provence, there is a majestic site of exceptional beauty. In this environment marked by history, the cultivation of vines has held a predominant place since Roman times. Our family is linked to this history. Proud of our traditions, rich in our experience, We make wines with character, wines just like the places from which they come.
12 generations of winemakers have succeeded each other in this cellar. Under a seventeenth-century building, the old cellar still houses our treasures which are refined day after day. The experience of our seniors feeds our know-how. We have a strong link with the Grenache grape variety, which is the backbone of our red wines. Grenache is a champion of the expression of terroirs. On our clay-limestone soils and in our hot and dry microclimate, it offers us the best. It is up to us to tame its power and its sometimes excessive generosity. The winemaking process begins in the vineyard and ends in a bottle. At all stages of this vinification, our unique experience guides us to obtain wonderful bottles.
After succeeding his father Roger, Meffre and his wife Martine are handing over to the next generation, Julie, their eldest daughter and son-in-law Carré de Lusançay with almost fifteen years of experience.

Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from a Licensee to the purchaser at the licensed retail premises or warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the licensed retail premises or warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the alcoholic beverages, the retailer is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

We cannot ship wine/sake to the following states: AL, DE, KS, KY, MI, MS, ND, NH, NJ, NV, PA, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT.
Flat Rate shipping for $35 for all purchases under $500. For any order over $500, we offer free shipping.
International Shipping
Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
Signature Policy
For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
