    VINEYARDS
    ORIGIN: Farms with viticultures 100% from Las Compuertas, Luján de Cuyo (Grosso, Cremasci, Hurtado).
    VINEYARD ALTITUDE: 1050 m.a.s.l.
    YEAR OF PLANTATION: 1954 to 1966.
    DENSITY: 7000 to 7500 plants per hectare.
    YIELD: 1 plant per bottle.
    CONDUCTION: Double guyot with green.
    VINEYARD MANAGEMENT: Conventional.
    SOILS: Alluvial with a loamy horizon on a rocky subsoil with calcium carbonate.
    WINEMAKING
    HARVEST DATE: First week of March.  
    HARVEST: Manual.
    RECEPTION AT THE WINERY: In boxes of 18 k, 100% destemmed grape.
    MACERATION: Cold at 10° C for 1 day.
    ALCOHOLIC FERMENTATION: With native yeasts in concrete vats without epoxi for 16days at 23-26°C.
    MALOLACTIC FERMENTATION: In the same concretevats for 30 days at 22°C.
    AGING: During 4 months in concrete vats without epoxi.
    BOTTLING: September 2024. This wine has not been stabilized, neither filtered or clarified. 
    TOTAL PRODUCTION: 15.000 bottles.
    Alcohol: 13,5%.
    Total Acidity: 5,74.
    Ph: 3,74.
    Residual sugar: 2,97.
    TASTING NOTE: Intense violet in color, it presents aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, and ripe cherries with floral components and wild herbs. On the palate, the wine unfolds with a balance between freshness and elegance. Soft, elegant, and rounded tannins sustain a good balance.
    Recommended temperature to consume it: between 15° and 18° C.

    Title to, and Ownership of Alcoholic Beverages

    Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from a Licensee to the purchaser at the licensed retail premises or warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the licensed retail premises or warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the alcoholic beverages, the retailer is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

    We cannot ship wine/sake to the following states: AL, DE, KS, KY, MI, MS, ND, NH, NJ, NV, PA, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT.

    Flat Rate shipping for $35 for all purchases under $500. For any order over $500, we offer free shipping.

    International Shipping

    Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.

    Signature Policy

    For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
