The 2018 MARNET CAMPBELL RANCH PINOT NOIR was fermented with 10% whole cluster in a stainless steel open top tank for 15 days before going to press. I punched down the must once a day, in the afternoon. The wine is 60% Clone 115 and 40% Clone 115. Both blocks have vines that are mature above 20 years of age. The wine was made with no additives, and minimal sulphur.

Soils: Low Vigor Goldridge Loam
Training/ trellising: Cane pruned, traditional VSP
Oak: 15% new French Oak (Remond), 85% neutral French Oak
Time in barrel: 10 months

Baking spices, forest floor, black licorice, umami, and tart red and purple fruit.
