Tasting Notes
Wakatake Onikoroshi (若竹鬼ころし) Junmai Daiginjo is an extremely popular brew located at the top tier of the sake food chain.
Its supple texture and rich, fruity profile make it easy to love. Demon Slayer is slightly sweet, with notes that include melon, green apple, banana, daphne, and marshmallow.
The use of Shizuoka yeast strain HD-1 is noteworthy as it provides high-key aromatics and the aforementioned silky texture. Soft well water only adds to the fruity and soft nature and also provides a sense of terroir.
This Junmai Daiginjo’s opulence (rich fruitiness) doesn’t run counter to complexity, however. Citrus and grainy notes, plus a fresh finish, add balance.

Title to, and Ownership of Alcoholic Beverages
Title to, and ownership of, all alcoholic beverages passes from a Licensee to the purchaser at the licensed retail premises or warehouse and state it is purchased in and the purchaser takes all responsibility for shipping it from the licensed retail premises or warehouse to his/her home state. By arranging for transportation of the alcoholic beverages, the retailer is providing a service to and acting on behalf of the purchaser. By utilizing this service, the purchaser is representing that he/she is acting in a fashion compliant with his/her local and state laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of alcoholic beverages. The purchaser represents that he/she has obtained any required permission, paid any required fees, is working through properly licensed intermediaries where required, is legally entitled to take possession of alcoholic beverages, and is legally entitled to take quantities ordered and once again authorizes that he/she is 21 years of age.

We cannot ship wine/sake to the following states: AL, DE, KS, KY, MI, MS, ND, NH, NJ, NV, PA, SD, TN, UT, VA, VT.
Flat Rate shipping for $35 for all purchases under $500. For any order over $500, we offer free shipping.
International Shipping
Generally, we do not ship internationally, as some countries have restrictions on wine/sake shipping. Please send an email to elizabeth@inthecru.com before purchasing. In all cases, local taxes and shipping will be paid by the purchaser.
Signature Policy
For successful delivery of your wine or sake on the initial try, we highly advise selecting an address where an individual aged at least 21 is present to sign for the package. Legally, wine cannot be left without such a signature. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund shipping fees for packages returned due to the absence of an adult for signing. Shipments cannot be sent to APOs, FPOs, or P.O. boxes. Additionally, deliveries will not be made to individuals deemed intoxicated by the driver.
